Title: SSL 4000G Computer VCA Groups Randomly Cutting / Channels Dissapearing In Mix

Hi All.

I just got this problem yesterday, and I am very worried, I cant figure out what causes this problem...  ???
The problem only exist when the computer is on.

I have an SSL 4000E 40 faders / 8 VCA      (32 mono + 8 stereo channels)
And i have an SSL 4000G computer with a Computer Bypass unit hooked up to it.

It has worked perfectly for about 6 months since I installed the console in my studio.

I was wondering if any of you have had simular issues, and maybe know what causes it, and how to fix it?

I really hope there is someone with an idea of what the problem might be.

Hey. Reseat and clean edge connectors on computer reseat connections like ribbons.
