Title: CF82E25 Rev 5 - Schematic

Hey all,

Does anyone have a copy of the CF82E25 Rev 5 (main output buffers) schematic?
I've only got the one from the G series manual, and the schematic is missing from my E series hard copy.

Hi Anthony,

Which version of the diagram have you got in the G series manual? The one in my G series manual  is rev 6, and the only difference between that and rev 5 is that the output resistors in the output amps were 75R at rev 5 and are 33R at rev 6. I wouldn't have thought we'd have changed it after that?

Below are the only schematics I found for the 25 card, which are from the widely available G manual scan.

Would love to get a copy of what you have, if it is more similar to the card I have in hand

Many thanks Kevin, got there before I did! That's interesting that hybrids were added to replace the output buffers in 1990, I'd obviously completely forgotten that... (It's nothing to do with G series, I'm not quite sure why that was done, I guess it was done as part of the 8k work).

I'd found another one in the 6K manual which is very similar, but for an 82E125.
Closer to the Rev 5 vintage with the 75ohm resistors.

Ok, I'll see your hand drawn 125 circuit and I'll raise you a CAD 195 circuit from my 6K manual with 33R resistors! :D
(I have a feeling that when Trevor Stride called the 6k version a 125 he didn't realise that there was already a card called a 125, so we renamed it a 195.)

Maybe by the time this thread's finished we'll have a complete set between us...
