Title: 6000E Hybrid Op Amps

Hey all,

Would anyone have a schematic for the two types of hybrid op amps as used in the 6000E console, specifically on the CF82E256 card?
I've started reverse engineering these, but they seem to have printed resistors on them, making it really difficult. Other than that it looks like a simple 5534 balance / unbalance circuit.

Trying to troubleshoot two of these cards, and suspect at least some of these are dead.

Hi Anthony,
I don't have a circuit for them, but they are just the usual E series balanced in and balanced out amplifiers e.g. as on the '11 cards.
They were only created as hybrids because when the 5k was designed they ran out of space! Then once we had them we thought we might as well keep using them.

I'll be able to figure it eventually, just looking for the lazy way out  :)

Spending a lot of time recently bringing someone's 6048E back to life, so lots of new learning around the 688V.
It's got bar graphs as well which I am getting to know a bit better now.
Seen some really interesting issues in this console, but nothing has defeated me to date!

Hey Anthony, you getting into the plasmas? I will be interested to see your progress there, its always been a dangerous area!

No plans to get in to them, other than fixing a few on this console.
Some are dead, some have glitching behaviour.
Should be fun.

Thanks Pascal. That's close but simplified to what i have worked out for the balanced to unbalanced one.
