Title: VCA fader not working >>SOLVED<<

Hi,

This week is being maintenance week! 8)

I have replaced SPLIT and PRE/IN switches by F4UEE C&K ones. I have done the replacement in 30 channels… all working fine except one of them. VCA fader is not working, I have swapped all cards and the problem is still there. I have been checking all replaced switch pins continuity’s and seems they are ok. I measure -18/18v in the VCA card and 5.05v o the VCA. Someone who have replaced these switches… had have any similar issue?

Maybe the issue it is not related to the switch replacement… but until this… the channel was working fine so…

Hi,

I have double checked just in case… one pin of PRE switch was not making contact with the pad… the soldering pad of the upper side, have been damaged or so… when removing the old switch. I have been very careful when removing the old switches… but…
