Title: 4064 E/G+ keyboard not working

now my time to ask:
I am working on a 4K from 1983 and it needs a bit of work done. the computer and centre section cards have been upgraded to G .
computer boots up and keyboard (old type one) was working some time back but it's now dead.
I have probed all the ribbons and everything is fine (the console is in storage so I thought something got cut during transportation) but no luck...
anybody has an idea what to try ..computer is still black magic for me..

Long shot...

Check there aren't 2 Keyboard ports under the console.. mine has 2, the 'main' port wasn't working but other works 100%.

Hi there,
thank you.

I only have one, and checked the cable from the keyboard IDC to the IDC before the computer pin by pin and it's fine...so I suspect either keyboard or something in the computer... I wish I could attend one of those SSL maintenance courses in the 80s....
