Title: EQ 82E292 Card on E Channel board
Post by: Nick on November 21, 2013, 10:56:50 AM
Hi ,
anyone have some infos about installing Eq 82E292 into channel motherboard "E" series ?
I've got some cards and i would like to install them on my 4064 E/G.
These cards have two 10pin connectors but i don't know what they are use to .

Someone have a kind of instructions and schematics?

Many thanks

Nick

Hi Nick, you’ll need to change 2 potentiometers in the two mid bands, these have extra decks, and the two 10 way headers handle the original and extra connections.

Thanks for the infos Sintech ( super as always) ,

Do you have some photos of the board and pots connected ?
I assume that they are not easily around?
You know of any source where i can get them?

Regards

I can make some photos. My entire console is filled with these. Want to swap some?

I take that when swapping out EQs, the pots should come with it!?

Hi Marc,
if you can make some photos would be great ! ;-)

I have only 8 Wide Eq cards, and i'm trying to understand how to implement them on my E console, so i need to know exactly the model of pot  and how the work is done.

The pots are designed to be backwards compatible with EQ types.
