well, i figured as I'm getting closer and closer to the end of a fairly painful (typical) install of my console, I thought I'd share a picture of her. It's not great/not fancy/taken w/ my phone, but we love her just the same.

SSL 8000 G+
80 channels
Ultimation
TR
74 channels of 242 black EQ, 6 channels of 292.

Been a REAL sh*tshow getting it this far, but almost to the other side now...:)

It is a beautiful console! the 8000 in my opinion was the SSL on it's prime! Congratulations! Please share more photos! :D

Is that an 30" Apple? looks dwarfed :-)

here's a couple more:

1. the day it turned up and it was 10 degrees F, and we carried up 2 flights of stairs for 4 hours only to find that it didn't make a turn in the hallway and had to be split.
2. making some sense of the chaos
3. one of the first evening mixes

Always plan your measurements carefully beforehand! The 90º degree's turns are always the trickiest ones! I made a sample console out of cardboard just to find out that I would have to split it because of the L turn it had to do to enter the room! ;)
