So after using 8K channels (with the film pan card) in my SSL
channel test rid I noticed there is not output with pan dead center.
Now a client of mine has my dear friend Greg installing some 8K
channels in his 4k, guess what? No output with pan dead center!
It seems like a film/phase issue. After looking at some older E
block diagrams it appears the pan pot is "passive" and feeds
the quad busses via 15K resistors. Any ideas?
