No signal at line input-!!!

Hey guys I have a 611gve channel strip I can't get any line input signal on .
The monitor input does work and I have signal there and it meters
As far as I can tell from the manual.   The line inputs on  pins 10&11of the main 611 board  then goes to pins 55&57 on the channel input amp card. 
I have swapped fo a known working channel amp card and i does not work .
I have also swapped in known working -vca,group ,& logic cards - does not work

I have power to the channel strip.  LEDs light.  Solo and cut work. Vca fader works with signal from the monitor in. Both 2A fuses on the main 611board are good

Is there something (resistor, diode, fuse, etc.)  specific to the line in on the main 611 board I need to test ?
Does this point to the line in pot?

Any help, tips, suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated   Thanks !

Have you changed out all the boards with known good ones, and tested at the same time?
Trying to rule out multiple FET failures here...

I have one channel where the line trim pot, has a dead spot right on the indent. It works either side of the indent position.

In Rec+VCA to Mon, and ready tape, it bypasses the input pot - correct me if I’m wrong here anyone. But in Mix mode, the trim pot is in the line signal path to The VCA fader.

On that note, does anyone have a spare line trim pot (22/100k I think) they can part with?

Swapped all known working cards into. Channel strip.  And it does not work

Update :
It appears i am getting signal into the line input.  If I crank the line input pot.  The overload/ clip led  lights in accordance with the signal. 

I am able to get the signal at the insert send. 

The signal  does not. Make  it to the aux's or the group outs via the float.

And this is with all known working cards and dynamic and Eq switches swapped in

So its on the motherboard. Do you have an extender? If not, buy or build one. Otherwise you will waste an awfull lot of your time, which I presume is valuable.

Agreed. Best investment I made. Repairs are now identified and fixed in 1/10th of the time.

Ok thanks guys.  I'll have to find one or make one.  I have a spare a channel I don't mind cutting but not sure about getting the console side of the connector

Is there a schematic for the 611 motherboard in the manual I'm missing ? Or looking in the
Wrong spot possibly ?

You can do a lot of faultfinding on the motherboard by looking at the subcircuits and following their pin numbers. The motherboard is well marked with those numbers. So follow the signal from line in pins to the appropriate place on the line/mike card etc.
