G series Console PSU: In need of a bit of work
« on: August 12, 2020, 01:38:18 PM »
We have a G series Console PSU available.

In need of a bit of work to get it back to tip top.

Main issue currently is that something is trapped under one of the regulator card slots, and causes arcing when the unit is powered on.
Probably just a stray piece of clipped component leg/washer/or similar, that's got in there while open.

Other than that suspect it's in need of reservoir caps on the +/-20 V rails, as ripple was getting a bit big.
Not causing any audible effects, but causing some general instability issues.

Selling as studio upgraded to an Atomic, and looking to create some cash-flow.

Please get in touch with offers.

Possibility we can get it all serviced and sorted if required.

Not sure on price, hence make us an offer.

Location... Eastbourne UK, but can probably deliver in the South East of England.
