AFL switch Behaving Oddly

Hi All!

So, new issue, always a new issue... kinda like my self, wake up daily with a new issue.. so i cant fault a console of this age

Basically goes like this, AFL button/switch works sometimes.
Ive boiled it down to a weird 'indicator' of when it will work and when it will not.

If i press AFL in and it lights up Half brightly, it will work, As well. When it is working, the AFL light will go from semi bright and become brighter when i press solo on any channel.
If i press it in and its very dim but still lit it will not work.


And by work i mean, It will solo a channel without cutting the rest, when it doesnt work, solo of a channel will cut all channels.

First place to check would be the '24 card in the master section. Note that the AFL lamp is dual-brightness by design. The dim state comes locally through the 1K resistor on the switch itself, and the increased brightness comes from the increased current through the 240R resistor associated with D29 and the Solo/Cut bus logic.

 Another potential source would be the diode on the AFL switch itself.  If that's not working properly, then it won't pass the Logic High signal from the switch to the Solo Disable bus, thus preventing AFL from over-riding the conventional Solo mode.
