Small fader cut switch creates a 1084hz oscillation.

When i press the cut switch on one the 611e Small faders it creates a 1084hz oscillation. It only happens on one channel. I have a 6k. Any ideas?

do you have all the lights installed? I had a 6k that had some oscillations in some places if the lights were out. In the mhz range but would heterodyne down into audio.

Never had this problem but:

1- does it happen on that channel regardless of the position on the desk? ie if you move the channel on another position does it follow the channel?
2a- if it is that channel start by swapping cards between a good known working channel and the faulty one to isolate the problem in a smaller area
   2b- I would start with the Logic card
