Difference between the SL612E and the SL613

Trying to test a G series channel on the bench, but I only have a SL612E, which is for the E-series.
Result is that some earth locations on the channel appear to be floating and therefore giving me crazy readings.

What do I need to Mod on my test jig to make it compatible with G series strips?

Can't believe I've been doing this for 25 years, and have only just come across this issue.

I guess in the past I've been using a SL613, which is backwards compatible.

I know of the coat hanger mod for making E series strips work in a G desk, so I assume it's a similar thing.
Details would be appreciated.

Hi Andy

Worked it out in the end. The G series test jig has a slightly longer connector, so that it catches the earthing point at Pin 78.
I've worked out a way to get around this when testing G channels, so it's all good.
