Crackling and popping noise from Exp/Comp

Hi,
have a few Dynamics wich make annoying crackle sounds, and some have a higher noise floor than other cards.
Any Hints were to look first?
Not much threads about these cards...

BTW, its the CF82E10 card with the APHEX VCAs
