Hi, that's the Logic card. These should be interchangeable no problem. If you need any more of these.. got a large dustbin sized pile with late 80's test stickers.

The logic card I have in spare doesn't seems to work neither.
the problem is that the green led near small fader is still litten even I am in record mode or replay mode.
The problem is on the logic card (exchange with a working card as already been done)
Wich part should I change?

So, you're saying the Logic card is ok, and changing the 013 (0r 014) VCA card with another fixes the issue, so the fault is 100% on the VCA card?

I've changed Tr28 and it works now....(from the advice of aesaudio who sold me the module)

I have two logic cards that both look similar to to the ones posted at the top of the thread. The older cards have an 8 pin header that a ribbon cable plugs into from the motherboard to the header. Only one wire on the ribbon is attached to the mother board. The newer logic card I have which looks like the 2nd picture doesn't have the 8 pin header on the card.  What does this part do and what is its purpose attaching to the motherboard. If you don't have the header and you leave off the ribbon attached to the motherboard what happens?

Here is a picture of the one I have with the ribbon cable. The ribbon is attached to the right side of RM26 on the 611 motherboard. My logic card is Rev. 3.  I don't what the ribbon cable does.

ok i see that. I'd have to pull one of my i/o's to see, was looking for Rhoads Audio in Nashville but they have closed. Vinny is doing freelance. Look in forum threads for contact. Your in chicago...you guys don't have an SSL guy? I lloked it up.

This is a G series Logic card, I've never seen one fitted in a E module before, I'd do some investigation before trying it.

My modules are the 611G.  Can you tell me what the purpose of the ribbon cable is attached to the 611G motherboard that goes to the logic card?  It is only attached to the motherboard on a single wire of the 10 pin ribbon.

the one with the ribbon connector is actually the newer/g series card. not sure if i remember correctly, but i think the ribbon is for channel into meters. (which you can't do on an e)
