Ultimation Motors group buy

Hi guys,

I've found a company that manufactures direct replacements for the ultimation motors (no retrofits necessary). These motors are called Ultimotors and they are manufactured by the US based company http://www.precisionmotorworks.com/.

They claim these are much more robust, reliable and durable than the original motors.

I've been talking with them and these have to be ordered on special order and with a minimum volume of 10 motors. The prices will go down drastically with higher volumes. I am currently trying to negotiating these values since I think they are a bit expensive.

I am curious to know if any Ultimation users of the forum would be interested on a group buy if the price is just right?

Yap those guys are great and very cordial! I had a very nice feedback from them.

If there are any parts you need maybe we can get that into the group buy too?

To happen this will be to January since they are relocating to new installations and will close 24th this month to reopen in January.

Mosca, if this deal is going ahead it's going to happen on January next year.

Please let us know what's the amount of motors you would want. If we reach January with enough motors that give us a good price I'll then contact everyone to proceed with the purchase.
