Hey Mattia, no standard metering, it's either too problematic, or too expensive.

Do have a nice master plasma (German) with inbuilt phase meter...but, it's too small to fit in the 4 space centre. So will probably sit in-between the monitors.

The top panel is just to sit the LARC on!!! :-)

Going to get Pete (sinestar) to CNC the final centre panel, it's really just VCA cuts and solos, Master status, and pretty much what's on my current temp panel:

Decided it would be better to have a stereo limiter, rather than two preamps summing to mono. :-) building the second limiter/output stage on matrix board point to point:

Damn.. wish I saw this earlier. I designed a self etch layout of this circuit a couple years ago. Could have saved you some time.

Frame Complete 4024 with Right Hand Patch., it's still very modular and every bucket terminates locally to Dsubs. Took about an hour to bolt it up.




Power: Big shout to Jim, for giving me some power wiring demonstration/advice and lending me the BICC tooling. :-)






Patches: The next task is to begin the bay wiring, 4x 80 way supplied by Jim, and my two existing outboard bays.

Killing me Andy:) Finally going to have enough cash this week to payoff my buss cards for the bucket. I'll take the psu u have,at least I'll be able to use what channels I will have as I keep buying them...Damn my wife is literally going to kill me in my sleep and say I must had been electricuted building all this...LOL..

As of today, it's sounding great, super low noise floor, on the LF, RF buses, and all 6 cue/aux mix amps are working perfectly. Looking forward to installing it in my studio in the weeks to come. :--)))))

If anyone has a 82e20 card (VCA Groupers and Cuts) for sale, let me know :-)

Working on the VCA group matrix board



82E20 VCA Group card, bought from the fantastic people at Recycled Audio



Following the SSL service manual 'Point to Point' wiring


Recapping the power caps on the 82E20 card



Competed back plane wiring, just VCA Trim pot and switch connections to go




661J (Japan) The Jap's weren't happy with the original 661, and came up with this beast. It has 2x 19 way BICC outlets, so pushed the boundary to 56 channels on a single supply.

Andy...this is brilliant!
I wonder, do you think there is a way to make the E series trim look like the G series? I'd love to make my 4064E sides a bit more aggressive like the G series.
