Hello, I'm new to operating an SSL4000E. I have a few questions I need answered. I have just installed a 4040E for a client through my custom cable business. He has now asked me to finish of the install which is but I've never used a SSL before.

Q1. So the main studio monitors are connected to the FL,FR outputs on the master DL loom? He has a small pair connected to the mini L,R on the DL loom.

Q2. The console PSU has dropped 48v, so phantom power doesn't work on the console. Has anyone had this happen?

Q3. How do I patch in outboard FX units as the console only has cue sends on the patchbay & not aux sends.

Q2 Could be different problems, maybe a faulty regulator card in the PSU, maybe some transistors are blown...

Q3 The patchbay could refer to the aux sends as "ECHO SENDS"

Check the regulator card for 48V in your PSU. Probably blew a pico fuse.
