Computer Not Seeing Stereo Inputs

I recently installed 5 stereo channels to my 4056 4000G that was loaded 48 mono, but I cannot get the computer to recognize the new channels.  The VCA are at full on all the time for the new stereo channels.  Is there a configuration I need to do to make these channels active on the console so that they have VCA control?

Channels 1-40 are one set of analog input/output cards and those work fine.  Channels 41-48 and the patch VCAs are on the second analog input/output card. If I switch the first analog card to the location of the second analog input/output card, my stereo channels, patch VCAs and 41-48 work fine.  If I switch the 2nd analog card to the first analog card slots, I only get control of the channels 1-8.

I am trying to figure out if this is a software configuration issue or if I have problems with my 2nd analog input/output card.

Have you tried the custom console setup in the software? Read computer service manual page 1-17 to 1-20.

Just looked in computer service manual. You have custom and standard maps. You added a bucket or just replaced mono channels with stereo channels?
Yea you should get the service manual if it's a copy of what you get with the console it's full of great info.

If you add a bucket to your console you need to tell the computer. These are the steps.
