Problems with SMPTE

Hi, this is my first post in this community.

I have an SSL 4040G, with Total Recall and VCA Automation. Also use the Pro Tools 11 HDX, the Avid Sync HD and the MADI HD
This is the problem. When i try to synch the console with Pro Tools, with the console as master, everything works fine.
But when i try to sync with Pro Tools as master, the SMPTE status on the console computer appears like correct (not flash and not the question mark), but the time does not run.
I also checked the SMPTE signal arrives to the desk.
Because of it, the automation works, but all the time write the events at the 0:00:00:00 time, overwriting the events.

I have tried to find in the several manuals and menus a way to get it, with no success.
What can i do to solve the problem?

Do you have a Konnektor or a 2Tools box?

Actually, we don't have the konnektor or 2tools, but i though it was enough with the Avid Sync HD

I think this is where the problem lies.

The SSL needs to see a virtual tape machine, and locate that machine via the parallel I/O S29

Not sure if this helps, but we just generate code to the SSL and always use "FROM HERE" at the ends of commands(ie GOTO MIX FROM HERE) and the SSL follows the code just fine in automation.  We don't control the transport with the SSL, we just use the ProTools for all transport functions.
