Channel main fader unresponsive

So one of my channels fader is completely unresponsive. Everything else in the channel strip works perfectly.

Any suggestions of how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Also does anybody know the exact size allen key necessary to remove channels, faders, etc?

Hi, first thing to do is: swap the 013 card with another known good channel, and see if the fault moves with the card.

Do you know what size allen key I need for the small screws. I'm struggling to find one that fits!

Just out of interest, where would you say the stuck fader position is?

If you switch to VCA to Meter, that should indicate.

I've just checked with VCA to meters and it's stuck as if the fader is right up in its loudest position.

0v = Fader full

+5v = Fader down

Greater than 7v = Fader cut.

So based on that logic.. you need to check on the 013 that it's generating the +5 VCA Fader voltage

Measure Volts @ pin 35 on the 013 card

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate that. I just need to purchase a 1/16" hex key then i'm on my way. I'm in the middle of a session and am getting married on Friday so please excuse the lack of haste!

Dude,
Sod the fader and git thee to the church on time!
Ultimation or not?
Try !TES to see if the fader is making it to the computer.
The screws should be pozidriv, but yours must have been changed.

That 0-5 volts has to through the fader and to the computer and back, check it throughout.
