SSL 96 way DL connector stock

96 way DL connectors, crimps, handles and modified metal backshells in stock which, as you know, are used on SSL consoles plus other non SSL studios worldwide.

All prices are GB£ ex delivery and VAT if applicable. These prices should be very competitive within Europe but may not be so in the USA as most of them are sourced from there or Asia and the delivery charges would make them more expensive.

I have been supplying these connectors to distributors, installers and studios since 1988. The demand peaked in 2003 and has declined since then until recently when more people are buying older SSL's. I can also wire DL connectors as well as supplying cable and panels (that is what I generally do!).

DL gold flashed crimp: £00.24p. 6000 in stock.

DL modified Edac metal backshell for plug: £10.25p. NONE in stock. 50 on order.

The picture below shows the Edac modified backshell with inside milling and the enlarged hole for the DL handle (not all screws are shown but are supplied). The orientation of the cable clamp on the right hand side of each backshell can be easily changed from a right angled entry through 45 degrees so that the cables exit the connector straight down to the floor area as is usually the case with SSL console DL connector installations.

In the foreground are the DL chassis socket, free plug, 24-26 awg gold flashed crimps (fully gold plated also available but not shown) plus the handle and screw as supplied. Ideally, the handle should be filed down a bit so it does not rub against the backshell top.

The SSL connector panel is M3 threaded to secure the chassis socket via M3 pozi pan screws (don't over tighten them as they may not be removable over time!).

I have had to pay for these up front so, will need a payment from you in advance as well (I can issue a ProForma invoice). The prices should be very competitive so, reserve some for your studio rewiring project even if it is in 6 months time.

Hi Matt. Thanks for your comments. Sorry for my lack of response here. I have been busy moving and adjusting over the last year. My website still exists but needs updating which I will attend to soon.
Please let me know what your question was in the wiring menu here so I can answer it. I did respond to a patchbay wiring question recently and thought I had addressed all the points mentioned. Perhaps it is there and you have not seen it yet?

thanks for getting back to me.

Just a few words here in this forum since it's a bit off-topic - sorry for that.

Don't feel obliged to answer my question in a short time - you have to earn money for your living as well.

About the english language : if German was the most used language on the planet, you would as well speak and write German that way (what about Spanish .... it's said to be the 2nd important trading language ... but I only know a couple of words of it).
In addition, I was 'forced' into English when I started my IT career back in the beginning 80s - there simple weren't a lot of German written books especially if you had to deal with IBM mainframes (large scale).

I'll get back to my patchbay wiring questions in the wiring section.
